About

I am a Clinical Psychologist by profession but juggle many balls across different roles. Including the role of a business partner, lecturer and trainer whilst being a parent and a friend with somewhat underwhelming ‘’psychologist superpower’’.

Over the last 10 years my career took me from the Charitable sector into a specialist niche of Acute Care within the NHS and back supporting teams, professionals and people on their journey of growth, resilience and recovery. All this time I have been captivated by the idea of self-fulfilment and how we can ALL live the life we want and deserve. I am biased to believe that psychological research and deliberate mindset are key hence my doctoral research in the areas of burnout prevention, job satisfaction and life fulfilment.

I am experienced in providing training, lecturing and consultation on matters of clinical practice, resilience and burnout prevention and treatment for individuals and organisations. This involves providing support to teams whilst improving individual job satisfaction through training, practice and mentoring.

My approach

I believe in as much personalised approach to psychological support as possible by developing an in-depth and holistic understanding of people, their individual story and unique psychological needs. This extends to teams and organisations.

I am trained and experienced in utilising the approaches specified below:

-Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)- Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT)- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) -Mindfulness- based Cognitive Therapy and Mindfulness Stress Reduction Program (MBSR) -Meta-Cognitive therapy (MCT)-Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT)

I also use a wide range of psychological models and specialist knowledge including new therapeutic developments whilst providing personal guidance and coaching. I currently focus on providing personal guidance through mentoring, supervision and training.
