Helping You Overcome Anxiety, OCD and Trauma Through Evidence-Based Therapy

  • Individual Therapy

Psychotherapy provides a safe space to explore what bothers you in the atmosphere of trust and respect. There are times in life when we simply need support in dealing with our circumstances and emotions. Therapy is effective in treatment of many psychological difficulties. We work with individuals and couples, and we utilise evidence based approaches. Amongst the many issues which clients bring to us are the following:

Depression – Anxiety – Stress – Panic attacks – Obsessive compulsive disorder – Grief - Relationship crisis - Trust & infidelity issues - Communication difficulties - Sexual difficulties - Significant conflict

  • Couples Therapy

Relationships are dynamic, as people are dynamic. We constantly evolve and grow. Each person has a unique history, personality characteristics, and perception of reality. Relationship between two people is therefore a dynamic process within which two individuals constantly evolve and grow individually, while at the same time trying to grow and evolve together as a couple. At times these processes do not align and partners might find themselves growing apart instead. We can help with:

Relationship crisis - Infidelity issues - Communication difficulties - Adjustment problems- Sexual difficulties - Significant conflict

  • Anxiety Therapy

Anxiety is one of the most common reasons people seek psychological therapy. While feeling anxious is a normal part of being human, anxiety can become overwhelming when it begins to interfere with daily life. You may find yourself worrying constantly, avoiding situations that once felt manageable, experiencing panic attacks, or noticing physical symptoms such as a racing heart, muscle tension or disturbed sleep. Over time, anxiety can start to affect work, relationships, confidence and overall quality of life.

  • OCD Therapy

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is much more than simply liking things to be neat or organised. It is a distressing condition in which a person experiences unwanted, intrusive thoughts, images or urges (known as obsessions) that create significant anxiety or discomfort. In an attempt to reduce this distress, they may engage in repetitive behaviours or mental rituals (known as compulsions). While these behaviours often provide temporary relief, they inadvertently strengthen the cycle of OCD, making the obsessions return more frequently and with greater intensity over time.

  • Depression Therapy

Depression is one of the most common reasons people seek therapy, yet it often convinces people that nothing can help. It can affect mood, motivation, concentration, sleep, appetite, confidence, and relationships. Many people describe feeling emotionally numb, exhausted, or as though they are simply "going through the motions" rather than truly living. Therapy provides a safe and compassionate space to understand these experiences, make sense of what may have contributed to them, and gradually begin rebuilding a life that feels meaningful again.

  • Relationship Therapy for Individuals

Healthy relationships require understanding, communication, and the ability to recognise the patterns we can easily become caught in. Even when attending therapy individually, many people find that improving their relationships becomes one of the most meaningful outcomes of our work together. We may explore recurring conflicts, attachment styles, communication difficulties, boundaries, trust, emotional needs, or the impact of past experiences on your current relationships. By developing greater insight into the dynamics between you and your partner, and learning new ways of responding, it is often possible to create healthier, more fulfilling relationships, even if only one person is attending therapy.

‘I came to Bea feeling very anxious and quite stressed and depressed. After several sessions of working with her, using her expertise to help me self reflect and her knowledge about how I can help myself I became more self aware and found happiness within myself. I am now in a really positive happy place and can now be a much better mum to my child. I found Bea really friendly with a warm, kind manner and would absolutely recommend her as a therapist.’ AS

testimonials

“Bea is an incredible therapist – she helped me navigate a distressing time in my life and guided me as I processed the events leading up to it. She listened, offered comfort and challenged me to see things from multiple perspectives, showing me that I shouldn’t believe everything I think!

After years of listening to an inner voice that was critical and unkind, I now hear one that is gentle and compassionate, and one that is unafraid to speak up when things aren’t right. I couldn’t have done this without Bea. As well as being a lovely person to talk to, she is knowledgeable, honest and adaptable, and I always felt safe and heard whenever we met. I will always be so grateful for her support.” — Claire

“I highly recommend Bea. Her humanistic approach to therapy is supportive, empowering and deeply rooted in kindness”- Sarah

I can't begin to express how much Dr. Bea's online couple therapy has meant to us. It's been a total game-changer for our relationship. We were hitting some rough patches, and that's when we found her. The online sessions are not just secure and private; they feel like talking to a wise friend who really gets it. Dr. Bea tailors each session just for us and our needs and she has been very flexible to adapt to our work schedule. Her online couple therapy has really improved our love life and we were actually surprised how an online service was so effective.

I really recommend her! - Cristina

Dr Bea is a great therapist who has helped me through intense periods of anxiety. Not only has she taught me coping strategies but she also helped me identify the root of the problem which has greatly improved my self awareness and ability to remove myself from situations that trigger anxious episodes.

Since talking to Bea, I have noticed unimaginable leaps in self-confidence and my ability to self-regulate my emotions. I will be forever grateful for the support she has provided and would recommend her to anyone who is seeking support for their mental health
— Anna

We did couples therapy with Dr Bea and it is one of the best things we did. Couples therapy Is very challenging but we both learnt a lot about ourselves and regularly say ‘ it’s like what Bea said’ when we are discussing things.

We have both come a long way and have changed massively as people in a positive way. For me Bea Is different to other professionals I have seen previously. I found her much more helpful and honest and if we return to therapy we w ouldnt go to anyone else. We built a fantastic relationship with Dr Bea which helped hugely with our sessions. We felt we could be open and honest with no judgement.

Thank you Bea!! - Kelly & Jack
