Individual Therapy
Life can be challenging, even when everything appears fine on the surface. Individual therapy offers a confidential space to better understand yourself, work through difficult emotions and develop healthier ways of coping. At One Psychology, our HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologists provide personalised, evidence-based therapy tailored to your individual needs. We work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, stress, burnout, grief, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties and major life changes, helping them create meaningful and lasting psychological change.

Couples Therapy
Relationships can be one of the greatest sources of happiness in our lives, but they can also become one of the greatest sources of stress and emotional pain. Couples therapy provides a safe, impartial space to better understand one another, improve communication and work through the challenges that may be affecting your relationship. We support couples experiencing relationship conflict, communication difficulties, trust and infidelity issues, intimacy concerns, life transitions and parenting challenges, helping them build stronger, healthier and more fulfilling relationships.
-

Anxiety Therapy
Anxiety can leave you feeling constantly on edge, overwhelmed or trapped in a cycle of worry that is difficult to break. Whether you experience generalised anxiety, social anxiety, health anxiety, panic attacks or specific phobias, effective treatment can help you regain confidence and feel more in control of your life. At One Psychology, our HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologists provide personalised, evidence-based anxiety therapy tailored to your individual needs. Together, we work to understand the factors maintaining your anxiety and help you develop practical strategies that lead to lasting change.

OCD Therapy
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is much more than simply liking things to be neat or organised. It is a distressing condition in which a person experiences unwanted, intrusive thoughts, images or urges (known as obsessions) that create significant anxiety or discomfort. In an attempt to reduce this distress, they may engage in repetitive behaviours or mental rituals (known as compulsions). While these behaviours often provide temporary relief, they inadvertently strengthen the cycle of OCD, making the obsessions return more frequently and with greater intensity over time.
-

Depression Therapy
Depression is one of the most common reasons people seek therapy, yet it often convinces people that nothing can help. It can affect mood, motivation, concentration, sleep, appetite, confidence, and relationships. Many people describe feeling emotionally numb, exhausted, or as though they are simply "going through the motions" rather than truly living. Therapy provides a safe and compassionate space to understand these experiences, make sense of what may have contributed to them, and gradually begin rebuilding a life that feels meaningful again.

Relationship Therapy for Individuals
Relationships have a profound impact on our emotional wellbeing, shaping how we feel about ourselves and the world around us. Whether you are struggling with relationship patterns, recovering from a breakup, navigating conflict with a partner or family member, coping with betrayal or finding it difficult to build healthy connections, relationship therapy can help you better understand yourself and your relationships. At One Psychology, our HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologists can explore with you the patterns that may be keeping you stuck and help you develop healthier, more fulfilling relationships
OUR MISSION
One Psychology was founded by Dr Bea Michalska with a vision of making high-quality, evidence-based psychological therapy more accessible. There is no time to waste when it comes to improving your quality of life. Whether you've been struggling for years or have only recently begun to notice something isn't quite right, meaningful change is possible.
With nearly 15 years of clinical experience across the NHS and private practice, Dr Bea and Dr Joanna provide tailored psychological therapy for adults, combining scientific evidence with genuine warmth, curiosity and understanding. Every person is different, which is why therapy is carefully adapted to your individual experiences, goals and strengths rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.
